In this country the check relies on your answers: sector of activity, number of employees, turnover and balance sheet total.
How the conclusion is reached
- The sector of activity is compared with the sectors in Annexes I and II to Directive (EU) 2022/2555.
- Company size is determined from the number of employees, turnover and balance sheet total, using the thresholds of Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC.
- Some services fall within the scope of the Directive regardless of company size (Article 2(2)).
- The classification is decided by the rules of the Directive; from national law the check shows the reference to the corresponding provision and the official term next to the result.
